Your story reminded me of the time when I was encouraging my wife to go to a chiropractor, back when she was pregnant with our first child. She was hesitant at first, but she loved it eventually.Rodger Funderberkhttp://www.floreschiropractic.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691740.post-29735584543116917502007-06-05T22:02:00.000-07:002007-06-05T22:02:00.000-07:00I found out I was pregnant with my second during a...I found out I was pregnant with my second during a visit to the ER. I had just been in a car accident. A construction dump truck ran a stop sign and plowed into the driver's side of my tiny economy car. When The Man arrived the nurse said "Mommy and Baby are both doing fine." We both looked at the nurse and said "Baby? What Baby?" We were three months pregnant. I was put into an arm sling and a leg brace accompanied by crutches. You can imagine the pains I felt every day. I was pregnant and would not take anything other than Tylenol. Our Lamaze teacher gave me a very simple exercise that helped so much I did it at least 4 times a day! All I had to do was get down on all fours (I know not easy) and slowly rock my pelvis up and down.

I am so glad to hear you found something that works for you. I am a big chicken when it comes to acupuncture. When I was pregnant with my second the doctors were all very leery about chiropractors. Thank goodness things have changed!MommasWorldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06485437827291277780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691740.post-39753312448212020782007-06-04T14:23:00.000-07:002007-06-04T14:23:00.000-07:00glad to know it's working and that you are better....glad to know it's working and that you are better. my parents did all this for years and I called it nonsense - till my mother took reiki classes and cured someone of terrible jaundice right in front of my disbelieving eyes. now i'm a believer! and ayurveda, home remedies, massages, accupressure, yoga - you name it, i'm willing to try it!the mad mommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14535453643548976883noreply@blogger.com
