I went nuts in art school with the wardrobe to make up for said thwarting.

I'm worried that I might be compensating by buying the most rebellous togs in the marketplace, and putting Jude in role that he may not appreciate some day. I cringe when I think about the "My Momma drinks because I cry" t-shirt he wore as a newborn... mom brain was in overdrive that day.

Anyway, I guess where I'm going is that I think the jolly roger legwarmers are super cute and want a pair for myself. I don't think you are crossing the line with those, but hell, I don't think I really care what the line is. I'm going to let Jude figure that out I supposed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691740.post-84181013264218847912007-04-30T14:26:00.000-07:002007-04-30T14:26:00.000-07:00Oh, god. No, sir.

It's such a shame, and it no doubt contributes to a lot of the scariest features (read: right-wing conservatism; the loss of the separation of church and state) of this country today.Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05602868040771218507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691740.post-22375084224691046052007-04-30T07:40:00.000-07:002007-04-30T07:40:00.000-07:00My little sister, in the 30 something set, purchas...My little sister, in the 30 something set, purchased a really cute hoodie jacket for Snow White. She loved it because it has a character populated in the room décor and clothing of her older sister who is 16 yrs old.

This character, Happy Bunny, looks very cute but is always accompanied with rude captions such as You smell like Butt, You suck and that’s sad, Let’s focus on me, It worries me how dumb you are, Cute but psycho, etc. Snow White’s jacket says “It’s All About Me. Deal With It.”

Snow White was so excited about the jacket she wanted to wear it to school the next day. I had to explain to her it was against the dress code. I was sure the teacher would confiscate the jacket and I would be called to the principals office. After thinking about it I didn’t want her to wear it out in public so it is strategically placed in the back of a hall closet. Out of sight and out of mind. Not because I think the jacket is horrible (I think it is cute) but due to others snap judgment. I do not want to be called a bad mother for something as silly as a jacket.

You are right, parenting comes with some adherence to the general public view all little children should be cute and adorable at all times.MommasWorldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06485437827291277780noreply@blogger.com
